Connection of Ostrava bikesharing with the ODIS all-year ticket
The novelty of Ostrava bikesharing is the connection with the ODIS all-year ticket and means a total of 30 minutes of free cycling.
The shared city bike service (so-called bikesharing), which Ostrava residents have been able to use since April 2019, is still very popular among them. Therefore, the statutory city of Ostrava, together with the operator of the service, Nextbike Czech Republic s.r.o., is trying to meet the wishes of its users and continue to develop it.
It is now possible to connect a long-term 365-day ODIS time ticket for tariff zones 1 or 2 bought on an ODISka or ZETKA transport card, bank card(physical payment card), ODISka v mobilu in ODISapka or MojeDPO, to the Nextbike application. Holders of such tickets will receive an additional 15 free minutes in addition to the existing 15 minutes of free travel.
The method of connecting this ticket to the Nextbike application is not complicated. Just select the "Subscriptions and partner benefits" section (or "My tariffs and benefits") in the main menu of the application. The second step is to simply click on the + button. This is located at the top left along with the text "Buy Subscription/Add Partner". In the "Available partners" section, the user then selects an item according to the carrier on which the relevant ticket is loaded, after which he selects the "Connect with a partner" option. All you have to do is fill in the required information to complete the process. And it is done!
