Extending student profiles on ODISkách
Student profiles on ODIS cards can be extended directly at the ticket machines of Dopravní podnik Ostrava a.s.
For whom the service is intended:
a) for students, ODIS holders who also hold an ISIC card valid until December 2026 For whom the service is intended
b) for VŠB students, holders of special VŠB ID cards, who are enrolled as full-time students at VŠB in the academic year 2025/2026
How it works:
a) VŠB ODIS holders: If a student of VŠB is enrolled in full-time studies in the academic year 2025/2026, he/she can extend his/her student profile on the DPO machine without any further delay. The student profile is renewed by attaching the ODIS to the machine reader and pressing the ‘Update Student Profile’ button. If the student is eligible for a student profile, a time limit will be displayed for reattaching the ODIS to the reader and uploading the student profile.
b) other ODIS holders: /b>
• the student must have a ‘verified ODIS’. Verified ODICs are primarily new (grey) ODICs that the holder has picked up at a pre-sale location
• Information on whether an ODIS card is verified can be found on the ODIS e-shop www.odiska.cz . In the ‘Card Overview’ section of a specific ODIS card, the user selects “Next” and then "Card Information.
• If the card is not verified, the user must come to the DPO shop or the ODIS Transport Information Centre with the relevant ODIS card and a personal document (ID card or passport) to verify identity. Verification is carried out by the pre-sales staff in the MSKCM software.
• If the card is verified, you can enter your ISIC card number in the relevant field in the ‘Card information’ section of the e-shop. The personal details on the ISIC card (first name, last name, date of birth) must match the personal details on the ODIS card.
• The student profile can then be extended for FREE at the DPO machine. The student profile is renewed by attaching the ODIS to the machine reader and pressing the ‘Update Student Profile’ button. If the student is eligible for a student profile, a time limit will be displayed for reattaching the ODIS to the reader and uploading the student profile. When renewing the profile, it is checked that the ISIC is valid until December 2026.
What are the benefits for student passengers
