Remote extension of student profile

Students of VŠB-TUO, OSU and other students with an ISIC card can extend their student profile in Ostrava (from the age of 18 to the age of 26) on their ODISka by another year at ticket machines at Ostrava public transport stops. Through these online machines, the system evaluates the right to a discount directly in the VŠB-TUO or OSU database after enrollment in the year, or in the ISIC database (with a license valid until 12/2024).

It is also possible to order a new ODISka at the E-shop (www.odiska.cz) ), without the need to visit a store. Photocopies of the required documents can be uploaded to the E-shop as part of the application for a new ODIS, after their verification the order will be processed without the need to visit the store.

ODISka for first-timers free of charge
Coordinator of ODIS s.r.o. this event, previously known only in Ostrava, is now being offered for first-year students in the entire Moravian-Silesian region. Parents can apply for a free ODIS for first-graders through the ODIS E-shop (www.odiska.cz) or at any ODIS Transport Info Center in Český Těšín, Frýdek-Místek, Havířov, Jablunkov, Karviná, Krnov, Opava, Orlová, Třinec, and at contracted partners in Bruntál, Kopřivnice, Nové Jičín and Rýmařov.
In the case of submitting an application in person at the contact point, it is necessary to present a current photo of the child with dimensions of 35 x 45 mm, his personal document (birth certificate, health insurance card, passport or national identity card of the child) and personal document of the child's legal representative (citizen card or passport passport).


The event is valid until September 30, 2023 and is intended for all children born in 2016 or 2017, regardless of whether they are currently in the first grade of elementary school or not.


Please note that obtaining ODISky free of charge is only valid for personal collection at the point of contact. In the case of a request to send the completed ODIS to the address, you need to pay a fee for the registered delivery of the ODIS (according to the ČP price list).

Benefit program of benefits with ODISka
Until the end of September, holders of a valid personalized ODISK can take advantage of a discount when visiting selected castles, chateaux and cultural facilities in the Moravian-Silesian Region. For these purposes, a valid ODIS is understood as a plastic ODIS with an active validity, regardless of which tariff product is loaded on it. A discount (in most cases in the amount of 15% or 25%) is provided on ordinary or family tickets.

Discount tickets for trips For one-day trips, the ODIS Tariff offers advantageous 24-hour tickets valid for the entire ODIS network, for CZK 200 for one person or for only CZK 300 for up to 5 persons, regardless of age. Tickets in the form of paper tickets can be purchased from bus drivers on regional lines with immediate validity or at Czech Railways cash desks in the ODIS territory, from train escorts and at Dopravní podnik Ostrava stores with optional validity. And of course in the ODISapka mobile application.

New ticket sales terminals on trains and at stations
Additional sales terminals for individual ODIS tickets are gradually being added, both at railway stops and in vehicles.
Terminals can be found at railway stations and stops in Třinec, Vendryně, Hrádek, Ostravice stop and, most recently, Bocanovice.
The same terminals are located in modernized motor cars running mainly on the lines S8 Studénka – Veřovice, S10 Opava východ - Rýmařov and S33 Suchdol nad Odrou – Budišov nad Budišovou, and then in double-decker push-pull units on the line S6 Ostrava hl.n. – Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, on weekends as far as Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, the city, and most recently in Regiopanter series 640 electric units on the S1 line Ostrava-Svinov – Opava východ.

Fares in the terminals can be paid with an ODIS or regular payment card.
